About This Event
Open Source Summit Japan 2026 is the Linux Foundation's premier vendor-neutral open-source conference in Japan, bringing together developers, technologists, maintainers, community leaders, and organizations to collaborate, share knowledge, solve technical challenges, and advance open-source innovation.
The three-day conference covers a broad range of technologies shaping today's open-source ecosystem. The 2026 program includes tracks dedicated to Linux, Cloud & Orchestration, Open AI + Data, Embedded Linux, Automotive Linux, Packages, Images & Containers, Safety-Critical Software, Zephyr, and open-source enablement and management.
Open Source Summit Japan is held together with Automotive Linux Summit and Embedded Linux Conference Asia, allowing participants to access content from all three conferences with their Open Source Summit registration. The combined event creates a meeting place for open-source developers and communities working across operating systems, cloud infrastructure, embedded systems, automotive technology, artificial intelligence, containers, and other areas of modern computing.
The event features keynotes, technical sessions, Birds of a Feather discussions, project activities, networking opportunities, and a Solutions Showcase, providing participants with opportunities to meet project maintainers and industry leaders while learning about new technologies and real-world open-source implementations.
