The Linux Association of Canada is officially up and running, marking an exciting step forward for the open-source community in Canada. Built on a shared passion for Linux and free software, the association is dedicated to connecting individuals, supporting learning, and strengthening collaboration across the country.
Since its launch, the association has been steadily growing, bringing together developers, system administrators, students, educators, and technology enthusiasts who believe in the power of open systems. What started as an idea to support and promote Linux in Canada is quickly evolving into a vibrant community focused on education, innovation, and shared progress.
As we continue to grow, our focus remains on building a strong foundation for the future. This includes expanding community outreach, organizing events and meetups, and creating opportunities for people of all experience levels to engage with Linux and open-source technologies.
