Call for Speakers

Do you have a passion for Linux or open source? We'd love to hear from you!

The Linux User Group Saskatchewan (LUGSASK) is looking for community members who would like to present at one of our upcoming meetings. Whether you've built a home server, explored Docker or Kubernetes, manage Linux systems professionally, contribute to open-source projects, or simply have a tip or project you'd like to share, we'd be delighted to have you speak.

Presentations don't need to be long or highly technical. A 15–45 minute talk, live demonstration, or workshop is perfect. First-time speakers are especially encouraged—we're a friendly, supportive community, and we're happy to help you prepare.

We're looking for topics such as:

• Linux distributions and desktop environments

• Self-hosting and home labs

• Raspberry Pi and maker projects

• Open-source software

• Programming and development

• Networking and cybersecurity

• Containers, virtualization, and cloud technologies

• AI and open-source AI tools

• Tips, tricks, and real-world Linux experiences

Knowledge grows when it's shared. If you have something you're passionate about, chances are someone else would love to learn from you.

Interested in speaking? Get in touch—we'd love to feature you at an upcoming LUG Saskatchewan meeting!
