About LUGSASK
The Linux User Group Saskatchewan (LUGSASK) is Saskatchewan's official chapter of the Linux Association of Canada — a registered non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting Linux, open-source software, and digital freedom across the province.
Founded by a small group of Linux enthusiasts, LUGSASK has grown into a welcoming community of developers, students, system administrators, hobbyists, and curious beginners united by a passion for open technology. Whether you're running Linux on your laptop, managing servers, or just curious about making the switch, there's a place for you here.
The group hosts regular meetups, workshops, and events across Saskatchewan — with a focus on hands-on learning, knowledge sharing, and building a strong local open-source ecosystem. All skill levels are welcome, and membership is completely free.
LUGSASK is registered as a non-profit organisation in Saskatchewan (Registration No. 102237822) and operates entirely on a volunteer basis.
