OmniOS
VerifiedOmniOS is an open-source operating system for servers, with support for many popular Solaris and OpenSolaris technologies, such as the ZFS file system, bhyve hypervisor, Dtrace (a dynamic tracing framework for troubleshooting kernel and application problems), kernel-based virtual machine, and Linux zone. It is based on Illumos, a free software implementation of the Solaris kernel.

The Linux Association of Canada respectfully acknowledges that our home in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, is located on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis.
