Donate Hardware

Give your old equipment a second life β€” and a young person a first chance.

How It Works

1

Submit Request

Fill in the form describing your hardware. We'll review it and confirm suitability.

2

3

Ship It In

Mail your hardware to us with the PO number clearly marked on the package.

4

We Refurbish & Redistribute

We clean, test and install Linux. Then we give it β€” for free β€” to someone who needs it.

Who Benefits

Refurbished systems go directly to individuals and organisations that need them most β€” completely free of charge.

Students in Need

Young Canadians who can't afford a computer for their studies.

Schools & Classrooms

Under-resourced schools and community learning centres.

Community Organisations

Non-profits, shelters and community groups serving Canadians in need.

Digital Inclusion

Anyone who would otherwise be left on the wrong side of the digital divide.

Open Source Beginners

First-time Linux users discovering open source without a financial barrier.

The Environment

Extending hardware life reduces e-waste and keeps working equipment out of landfill.

A note on what we accept: We're looking for hardware that has a genuine second life ahead of it β€” working or near-working computers, laptops, and components that can be cleaned up and put to good use.

We are not an electronics disposal service. Please do not submit hardware that is physically broken beyond repair, water-damaged, or simply end-of-life. If you're unsure, describe it honestly in the form and we'll let you know.
