About This Event

All Things Open 2026 is a major technology conference focused on the tools, technologies, processes, and people that make open source possible. Held annually in Raleigh, North Carolina, the event brings together developers, engineers, designers, technology leaders, entrepreneurs, students, community contributors, and organizations from across the global open-source ecosystem.
The 2026 conference introduces a two-day format featuring extended hands-on workshops, technical deep dives, co-located community events, keynote presentations, and a traditional conference program with more than 100 speakers across approximately 20 tracks. Topics span open-source software development, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, DevOps and DevSecOps, security, infrastructure, emerging technologies, and open-source communities.
Monday, October 19 focuses on workshops and specialized programming, including the Community Leadership Summit, Inclusion & Diversity in Open Source, the Open Source Accessibility Summit, and a Major League Hacking Mini AI Hackathon. Tuesday, October 20 features the main conference program with keynote and featured presentations alongside technical sessions.
Since its first conference in 2013, All Things Open has attracted more than 45,000 registrations, hosted more than 2,000 speakers, and presented more than 2,100 sessions. The 2025 event alone registered more than 6,500 participants representing 46 U.S. states and 75 countries.
