About This Event
Community Over Code Glasgow 2026 is the official open-source conference of the Apache Software Foundation (ASF), bringing together developers, contributors, committers, users, community leaders, and organizations from across the global Apache ecosystem.
Taking place over four days in Glasgow, Scotland, the conference provides a forum for the communities behind Apache's open-source projects to exchange technical knowledge, share real-world experiences, collaborate on projects, and discuss the future of open-source software.
The 2026 program includes more than 160 sessions across 18 tracks, along with keynote presentations, technical sessions, hands-on activities, hackathons, Birds of a Feather (BoF) discussions, and community events. Topics span areas including big data, search, artificial intelligence, data infrastructure and engineering, cloud technologies, Internet of Things, geospatial technology, financial technology, security, open-source sustainability, and community development.
Community Over Code continues the tradition of the former ApacheCon conferences, placing both technology and the people who create it at the centre of the event. It offers participants an opportunity to meet the contributors behind widely used Apache projects, learn about new developments, exchange ideas, and become more involved in open-source communities.
