Backend Python Developer(5-days Onsite) Position: Senior Software Engineer Location: Toronto, ON Employment Type: Full-time Job Description We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer(Python Backend ) to design and build highly scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions within our core banking platform. You will work in a cross-functional engineering team focused on enhancing a distributed microservices-based system that processes high volumes of financial transactions. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop scalable, secure, high-performance backend solutions. • Build and enhance distributed microservices-based systems processing high volumes of financial transactions. • Participate in system design, technical architecture, and product design discussions. • Own end-to-end delivery of large features. • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers. • Optimize system performance and ensure reliability. Required Skills: • 5+ years of software development experience. • Strong experience with Python (preferred) or another object-oriented language. • Expertise in Microservices and Distributed Systems. • REST API development. • Docker and containerized environments. • SQL/MySQL and RDBMS concepts. • RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies. • Git/GitHub. • Linux/Unix. • Cloud experience is a plus.
