Linux IT Platform Engineering Analyst

• Participate in supporting self-service infrastructure environments and solutions for the Linux server area, including incident management, service requests, and production deployments • Contribute to infrastructure platform engineering projects focused on Linux servers • Automate the delivery of IT services • Ensure the high availability of Linux services and servers • Maintain and update on-premises and cloud environments • Collaborate with teams to integrate Linux solutions into IT environments in accordance with security and performance standards • Monitor Linux solutions and IT infrastructure trends to recommend continuous improvements and innovations • Contribute to risk analysis and the implementation of security measures for Linux environments in collaboration with cybersecurity teams • Serve as a technical resource for the team and internal partners regarding Linux servers Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience analyzing, administering, and evolving Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) server environments • Strong proficiency in Linux server environments • Extensive experience with automation using Ansible and Terraform • Ability to develop code that facilitates the automation and deployment of technology services • Knowledge of VMware, storage, backup, and other infrastructure components • Knowledge of scaled agile practices • Knowledge of AWS cloud and Solaris • Advanced proficiency in French • Working proficiency in English Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in managing and automating Linux server environments, with a strong focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and cloud technologies.
