Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with strong hands-on backend engineering experience and a passion for Generative AI and Agentic AI.
This role is ideal for a software engineer who enjoys building production-ready AI-powered applications and enterprise software, rather than focusing primarily on traditional AI/ML or Data Science.
Location: Remote but must be from Quebec, Canada
Duration: Perm
What You’ll Do
• Design, develop, and own enterprise-level software applications and large-scale projects.
• Build and integrate GenAI and Agentic AI solutions into production environments.
• Develop backend applications using Python, with additional experience in Golang, Rust and Node.js/JavaScript.
• Build AI-powered applications and orchestrate AI agents to solve complex business and software engineering problems.
• Work with frameworks such as LangChain and/Or LangGraph.
• Review, redesign, modernize, and transform existing applications using emerging technologies.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate AI agents with multiple internal services and systems.
• Contribute throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from architecture and design through development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions for enterprise environments.
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of IT / Software Development experience.
• 5+ years of strong hands-on Python experience.
• Strong backend application development experience.
• Experience with Golang and Node.js/JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience building Generative AI / AI-powered applications.
• Experience developing Agentic AI / AI Agent solutions in production.
• Experience building and owning enterprise-scale applications and larger software projects.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design, and SDLC.
• Experience working with emerging AI technologies and applying them to real-world applications.
