Client: Citi - Python Developer We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with 8+ years of experience to join Citi’s technology team in Mississauga, ON, Canada. The role focuses on advanced Python development, large-scale data processing, data engineering, ETL development, PySpark, Spark, Pandas, NumPy, SQL/Oracle, and optimization techniques for processing high volumes of data. Role Snapshot • Job Title: Python Developer • Client: Citi • Office Location: Mississauga, ON, Canada • Position Type: Full-time • Work Arrangement: Onsite • Experience: 8+ years • Application Deadline: 06 Oct 2026 Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain applications using Python. • Perform large-scale data processing using PySpark and Spark. • Design and develop data engineering solutions. • Develop ETL processes using Oracle, MongoDB, and Hive. • Optimize data processing solutions for large volumes of data. • Work with Pandas for advanced data processing and analysis. • Utilize NumPy for data processing and computational requirements. • Develop and optimize SQL/Oracle queries. • Apply advanced coding practices to build efficient and scalable solutions. • Support Big Data processing requirements and data engineering initiatives. Required Qualifications • 8+ years of professional experience. • Strong proficiency in Python, including advanced Python development. • Advanced PySpark experience. • Advanced Spark experience. • Strong data processing and data engineering experience. • Experience developing ETL solutions using Oracle, MongoDB, and Hive. • Advanced experience with optimization techniques for large-volume data processing. • Advanced Pandas experience. • Intermediate NumPy experience. • Advanced SQL/Oracle experience. • Strong coding and Big Data processing experience.
