Become a Backend Developer II at Pixieset, building server-side solutions for a world-class platform dedicated to photographers. Your expertise will shape features and improve system performance.
In this role, you'll focus on backend development using PHP frameworks like Laravel while collaborating with various teams to support a vibrant community of 1.6 million photographers. Your skills in database management and web technologies will enhance Pixieset's infrastructure and user functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement product features with a backend development approach
• Write well-documented PHP code for scalability
• Maintain and improve APIs and infrastructure
• Collaborate with teams on defining project requirements
• Review code and ensure adherence to standards
Requirements:
• 3+ years in a Backend Developer or similar role
• Experienced with PHP and its frameworks
• Understanding of JavaScript and ES6
• Knowledge in relational databases, MySQL preferred
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms
