HOL Guard is local-first runtime control for AI agents. Installed on the machine, it can gate shell, secrets and file reads, MCP server changes, and plugin or skill installs, then route risky actions through local approvals and receipts. Users interact with D‑Wave quantum computers through a web user interface (UI), and through open-source tools that communicate with the Solver API (SAPI). The SAPI components are responsible for user interaction, user authentication, and work scheduling. In turn, SAPI connects to back-end servers that send problems to and return results from QPUs and additional solvers, which are located in different geographical regions (for example, North America or Europe).[1]

dwave-system is an API for easily incorporating D-Wave quantum computers as a sampler in the Ocean software stack, directly or through the Leap service’s cloud-based hybrid solvers. It includes DWaveSampler, a dimod sampler that accepts and passes system parameters such as system identification and authentication down the stack, StrideHybridSolver, for Leap’s Stride™ hybrid solver, and others. It also includes several useful composites—layers of pre- and post-processing—that can be used with DWaveSampler to handle minor-embedding, optimize chain strength, etc.
