Encrypted Message Crypté is a small application that allows you to share passwords, secret messages, or private links securely with another person. It does this by hiding your message behind a unique URL that can only be viewed once. Messages automatically expire after a predefined time limit if they are not viewed.

The AIA is a questionnaire designed to help you assess and mitigate the impacts associated with deploying an automated decision system. The AIA helps identify the impact level of your automation project under the Directive on Automated Decision-Making. Completion and release of an AIA is required by the Directive.

This project was designed to integrate with Statistic Canada’s The Zone platform. In The Zone, users can create individual workspaces with Kubeflow Notebooks. To persist their work, users can attach volumes to their notebooks. These volumes are not automatically deleted when a notebook is deleted. Users are free to move them or to reuse them. As a result, over time, users tend to amass several unused volumes. These volumes sit on the cloud and result in unnecessary costs. The purpose of this project is to design an automatic system that detects these unused volumes and safely removes them, reducing unnecessary expenditure. Despite being primarily designed for Statistics Canada, this project strongly values open-source practices. The codebase is available for public use and the entire development process is documented on the issues page. The volume cleaner was designed to have as little coupling as possible so it can easily integrate into projects outside Statistics Canada. Using open-source and being open-source was an important development philosophy.

This Directive outlines requirements for ministries and provincial agencies on listing all data inventories, publishing open data, and preparing information systems to support ongoing open data requirements. The open data initiative supports government efficiency, effectiveness and innovation. Users interact with D‑Wave quantum computers through a web user interface (UI), and through open-source tools that communicate with the Solver API (SAPI). The SAPI components are responsible for user interaction, user authentication, and work scheduling. In turn, SAPI connects to back-end servers that send problems to and return results from QPUs and additional solvers, which are located in different geographical regions (for example, North America or Europe).[1]

Jupyter Book is an open-source tool for building publication-quality books and documents from computational material. Jupyter Book allows users to write their content in Markdown files or Jupyter notebooks, include computational elements (e.g., code cells) in either type, include rich syntax such as citations, cross-references, and numbered equations, and using a simple command, run the embedded code cells, cache the outputs and convert this content into: a web-based interactive book and a publication-quality PDF.

The Littlest JupyterHub (TLJH) distribution helps you provide Jupyter Notebooks to 1-100 users on a single server. GC Design System Tokens are the smallest building blocks of the design system. They represent design decisions for basic elements like colour, typography, and spacing, creating a curated set of options that we base our designs on. Tokens replace hard-coded values with variables that can be reused throughout the entire code base which makes it easier to maintain and update any code. Our tokens help us create a consistent visual experience that meets the Government of Canada requirements. They also improve communication between design and development by establishing a shared language.

The Seed Planning and Registry (SPAR) is the Ministry of Forests' online tree seed registry. It allows users to: Order seeds or seedlings, request cone and seed processing, and seed testing Enter and update information about their seedlots, orchards, and parent trees Generate reports about seedling requests, and the seedlot inventory SPAR supports reforestation, forest and ecosystem rehabilitation and wildfire recovery. It's also designed around Climate Based Seed Transfer (CBST) to help forests adapt to climate change. SPAR guides users through the selection of suitable seedlots using the transfer rules found in the Chief Forester’s Standards for Seed Use.

Mailmunge is a mail filter based on the Sendmail Milter filtering protocol and library. This protocol is used by both Sendmail and Postfix, allowing Mailmunge to work with either Postfix or Sendmail. Mailmunge connects the Milter protocol to a set of Perl worker processes. This lets you write your mail filtering policies in Perl, and make use of the wealth of CPAN modules available for dealing with MIME and email in general.

An Indy Tails Server is file server that is designed to receive, store and serve Hyperledger Indy Tails files. Indy tails files are generated by an issuer of Indy AnonCred verifiable credentials when a Revocation Registry is created and must be published to a location accessible by all holders that receive a credential referenced in that Revocation Registry. The generated file is static, it does not change, and the credential holders use the tails file to produce a zero-knowledge proof of non-revocation about their credential and include it when responding to a proof request with a proof that includes claims from a revocable credential. If you are new to Indy AnonCreds Revocation, please review this document to understand how Indy revocation works, and where tails files fit in. An Indy Tails Server is a customized file server that makes it easy for AnonCred Issuers to publish tails files and for holders to access those tails files. A tails file does not have to be published to an Indy Tails Server, they can be published anywhere as long as there exists a URL accessible to all holders to access the tails file. If holders are mobile iOS or Android apps, the URL must use SSL (e.g. must be https:) due to the restrictions in those OS's. Support for publishing tails files to an Indy Tails Server is built into Aries Cloud Agent Python.

This repository is a template for creating an Aries Verifiable Credential Registry (VCR) Issuer Agent. Aries VCR is the foundational technology upon which the Government of British Columbia's OrgBookBC was built. Aries VCR Issuer Controller is a starter kit for building an Aries agent that issues verifiable credentials to instances of an Aries VCR, such as OrgBookBC. This repo contains code for an issuer controller that works with Aries Cloud Agent Python (ACAPy) framework. The controller and an instance of ACA-Py can be deployed together to implement an Aries issuer agent. aries-vcr-issuer-controller was developed as part of the Verifiable Organizations Network (VON).
