Mailmunge is a mail filter based on the Sendmail Milter filtering protocol and library. This protocol is used by both Sendmail and Postfix, allowing Mailmunge to work with either Postfix or Sendmail. Mailmunge connects the Milter protocol to a set of Perl worker processes.
