Anubis is a firewall utility for web servers that "weighs the souls" of HTTP requests to prevent AI and bot traffic from taking up the bandwidth of small organizations. Anubis has seen adoption in a number of open source projects where it is being used to protect source repositories.

The Tasking Manager has been initially designed and built by and for the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, and is nowadays used by many communities and organizations.
