Mobile DevOps Engineer (Android)

Role:Mobile DevOps Engineer (Android) Toronto, ON, Canada Type: Contract / Full-Time Hybrid Job description: • 5+ years of experience in Android application development using Kotlin and Java. • Strong experience with the Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, and Android application architecture. • Hands-on experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for Android applications. • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or Bitrise. • Expertise in Fastlane for build automation, code signing, versioning, and Play Store deployments. • Experience automating build, test, and release pipelines for Android applications. • Knowledge of Gradle build optimization, APK/AAB generation, and release management. • Experience with source control tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks including JUnit, Espresso, and UI Automator. • Experience integrating static code analysis and security scanning tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Aqua, or Nexus into CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with Firebase App Distribution, Firebase Crashlytics, and the Google Play Console. • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. • Experience monitoring application health using tools such as Dynatrace, Firebase Analytics, or similar. • Strong scripting skills (Bash/Python) to automate development and deployment workflows. • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills in an Agile/Scrum environment.
