World Vision Canada · Mississauga, Ontario, CA Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to manage and support World Vision Canada's hybrid IT environment, encompassing on‑premises infrastructure and Microsoft 365/Azure cloud services. The role is hybrid, with approximately 20% in‑office, and is primarily based in the Greater Toronto Area. Responsibilities • Manage and support hybrid identity across Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID. • Administer Windows Server 2016–2022 environments and Exchange hybrid configuration. • Lead endpoint management using Microsoft Intune, Entra ID device management, Autopilot, and Group Policy. • Maintain virtual server environments (VMware and Azure). • Monitor and optimize storage area networks and cloud storage; manage backups and disaster recovery. • Support cybersecurity tools such as Microsoft Defender XDR, Darktrace, and Microsoft Purview, and perform patching. • Administer network infrastructure including FortiGate firewalls, FortiClient EMS, SSL‑VPN (SAML/Entra SSO), and Cisco Meraki switching and wireless. • Provide support for Microsoft 365, email, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and corporate applications. • Ensure system security, integrity, and compliance with PCI DSS. • Collaborate with teams using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to improve processes. • Track and report system performance metrics; implement production updates and scheduled maintenance. • Equip Tier 1 and Tier 2 support staff and provide after‑hours support as needed. Qualifications • BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience. • Minimum 5 years of IT administrative experience. • Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Windows Server, Exchange, Microsoft 365, Intune, VMware, and Azure. • Knowledge of SAN solutions, backup, disaster recovery, and PCI DSS compliance. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Experience with Defender XDR, Darktrace, or Purview is an asset.
