Job Reference PDEVTLCA26 Location Ontario, Canada (Remote) Status Full Time Job Type Permanent Hours Of Work 37.5 More details Location: Remote in Ontario (Home-based) Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week Salary: $100,000 to $115,000 per annum Reporting To: Manager of Solution Engineering New or Existing Role: Existing The Role The Development Team Lead is responsible for leading the design, development, delivery and support of digital transformation, automation and integration solutions across our enterprise platforms — including Salesforce and SAP — that improve business efficiency and enable strategic growth. Working in a hybrid Agile and Waterfall environment, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to translate requirements into scalable, high-quality technical solutions. As a senior technical expert and experienced Python developer, you will provide technical leadership, mentor and develop other team members, promote engineering best practice, champion an AI-first mindset across the team's ways of working, and help drive continuous improvement across development processes, service delivery and solution architecture. This is a fully remote role with regular opportunities to meet colleagues in person at team and company events. Key Responsibilities o Lead the design, development and implementation of business automation, digital transformation and partner integration solutions o Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, analyst programmers and trainees o Support the architectural design of applications, services and integrations o Design, build and support integrations between core business platforms, including Salesforce and SAP, and internal and partner systems o Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define use cases and develop user stories o Contribute to solution estimation, sprint planning, retrospectives and delivery roadmaps o Establish and promote Python development standards, best practice and coding principles across the team o Develop high-quality, scalable and maintainable Python-based applications and services o Lead the adoption of AI-assisted software development practices, embedding AI coding assistants and agentic tooling into day-to-day engineering workflows o Set standards for the safe, effective and accountable use of AI in development, including code review, testing and security expectations for AI-generated code o Design and implement automated testing and business process monitoring solutions o Support User Acceptance Testing activities and work closely with end users throughout delivery o Ensure appropriate monitoring, performance optimisation and operational support arrangements are in place o Support live systems through Incident and Problem Management processes in line with ITIL principles o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and secure technology solutions o Drive the adoption of modern development tools, frameworks and AI technologies where appropriate, evaluating new capabilities as they emerge o Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team o Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and process improvement Please view the attached job advert for full details. • Disclaimer: AI may be used in the recruitment process Send to Friend
