Full Job Description
Join WHC Canada as a System Administrator and enhance hosting environments in a hybrid model. Focus on security and performance while tackling complex technical challenges. This role at Web Hosting Canada allows you to engage directly with production infrastructure issues. You'll apply your Linux expertise and guide junior staff through intricate technical processes, ensuring top-notch server management and system security. Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to real-time incidents for production infrastructure• Identify and resolve performance issues effectively• Handle security incidents like phishing and malware• Configure, provision, and decommission servers• Collaborate with vendors for troubleshooting Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration• Hands-on with cPanel/WHM in production• Knowledge of firewalls and monitoring tools• Familiarity with scripting languages is a plus• Strong communication skills in English or French Boost WHC’s hosting operations through innovative system administration and collaborative problem-solving.
