Our team of 800 employees supports Corporate and Investment Banks, Asset Management Companies, Insurance, and corporations for their projects in SI transformation, technology innovation, financial engineering, and regulatory implementation.
A global investment bank is strengthening its Observability team in Montreal. You will own the monitoring stack that keeps critical production systems visible and healthy, working with international infrastructure and application teams.
What you will do
• Implement, configure and administer Dynatrace Managed environments (OneAgent, ActiveGate, dashboards, alerting)
• Onboard applications and infrastructure into the monitoring platform and tune alerting
• Administer the Linux/Unix (RHEL) and Windows hosts that run the observability tooling
• Troubleshoot issues across firewalls, network protocols, certificates and load balancers
• Automate deployments and configuration with Ansible, Jenkins and Git, integrated with security vaults
• Take part in the team’s support rotation, including evening on-call
What you bring
• 3-5+ years in technology monitoring, observability or infrastructure
• Hands-on Dynatrace experience (Managed ideally) or strong experience with another enterprise observability platform
• Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills and solid Windows knowledge
• Scripting in Python, Perl or Bash
• SQL and core database concepts; fundamentals of Kubernetes and microservices
• Fluent English, spoken and written
Nice to have
• ITRS Geneos
• RHEL certification
• Dynatrace certification (or willingness to obtain it within 3 months)
Details
• Montreal, hybrid, 3 days on site per week
• Weekday on-call rotation in the evening, plus occasional weekend and holiday coverage on rotation
• Long-term contract with an immediate start
