Open Data Directive
This Directive outlines requirements for ministries and provincial agencies on listing all data inventories, publishing open data, and preparing information systems to support ongoing open data requirements.
The open data initiative supports government efficiency, effectiveness and innovation. Faster and easier access to government data through a one-window data portal facilitates evidence-based policy, informs service delivery and promotes greater transparency and accountability.
The open data initiative also supports public engagement and participation by allowing Ontarians to develop their own analysis, insights, and digital products.
To support this implementation of the directive, an Open Data Guidebook is available as a tool and resource to Ontario ministries and provincial agencies.
The Open Data Directive is a Management Board of Cabinet Directive, issued under the Management Board of Cabinet Act.
BCGov Digital Marketplace
The Digital Marketplace is a web application that administers British Columbia's Code With Us and Sprint With Us procurement programs. It enables (1) public sector employees to create and publish procurement opportunities, and (2) vendors to submit proposals to these opportunities.
BCGov Indy Catalyst
Aries Verifiable Credentials Registry (VCR), part of the Hyperledger Aries family of Digital Trust technologies, provides a searchable public directory based on Verifiable Credentials (VCs). It was historically known as both OrgBook (which is actually a deployment of Aries VCR) and Indy Catalyst.
Aries VCR is actively developed by the British Columbia Government’s Digital Trust Team in Canada, and the most well-known live example is OrgBook BC.
In an instance of Aries VCR, credentials can be issued from a variety of authorities about subjects in the instance. A core set of credentials are issued by an authority responsible for “creating” the subject. Other credentials can then be issued against the subject of these core credentials. All credentials are stored in a secure digital wallet and accessed via its website or the public API. This means an instance of Aries VCR can be an authoritative public registry of any referenceable information.

Gcds Tokens
GC Design System Tokens are the smallest building blocks of the design system. They represent design decisions for basic elements like colour, typography, and spacing, creating a curated set of options that we base our designs on.
Tokens replace hard-coded values with variables that can be reused throughout the entire code base which makes it easier to maintain and update any code. Our tokens help us create a consistent visual experience that meets the Government of Canada requirements. They also improve communication between design and development by establishing a shared language.
Gcds Utility
CSS Shortcuts is a CSS utility framework built to match GC Design System (GCDS) styles and Canada.ca standards. It provides predefined CSS utility classes that apply core design elements, like colours, spacing, and typography, to your HTML. The classes align with our GCDS design tokens for consistency and ease of use.

Nr Fom
FOM projects (proposals for logging, essentially) are submitted to FOM and made available for public review and comment. The submitting organization then needs to address the comments before submitting the project to the ministry.
Nr Broker
NR Broker is a customizable software deployment business intelligence tool. It automates access to secrets stored in HashiCorp Vault by software (applications, GitHub Actions, etc.), audits activities (builds, installations, provisioning secrets, etc.) and enables access automation.
Users can search, browse objects, view a graph representation and review activities using a web application. Developers integrate NR Broker into workflows by sending their intentions, requesting access and recording activity using http requests. As such, NR broker works on private on-premise clouds, AWS, OpenShift Clouds and more.
Nr Spar
The Seed Planning and Registry (SPAR) is the Ministry of Forests' online tree seed registry. It allows users to:
Order seeds or seedlings, request cone and seed processing, and seed testing
Enter and update information about their seedlots, orchards, and parent trees
Generate reports about seedling requests, and the seedlot inventory
SPAR supports reforestation, forest and ecosystem rehabilitation and wildfire recovery. It's also designed around Climate Based Seed Transfer (CBST) to help forests adapt to climate change. SPAR guides users through the selection of suitable seedlots using the transfer rules found in the Chief Forester’s Standards for Seed Use.

Von Network
A portable development level Indy Node network, including a Ledger Browser. The Ledger Browser (for example the BC Gov's Ledger for the GreenLight Demo Application) allows a user to see the status of the nodes of a network and browse/search/filter the Ledger Transactions.
von-network is being developed as part of the Verifiable Organizations Network (VON). For more information on VON see https://vonx.io. Even, better - join in with what we are doing and contribute to VON, Aries and Indy communities.
Indy Tails Server
An Indy Tails Server is file server that is designed to receive, store and serve Hyperledger Indy Tails files. Indy tails files are generated by an issuer of Indy AnonCred verifiable credentials when a Revocation Registry is created and must be published to a location accessible by all holders that receive a credential referenced in that Revocation Registry. The generated file is static, it does not change, and the credential holders use the tails file to produce a zero-knowledge proof of non-revocation about their credential and include it when responding to a proof request with a proof that includes claims from a revocable credential. If you are new to Indy AnonCreds Revocation, please review this document to understand how Indy revocation works, and where tails files fit in.
An Indy Tails Server is a customized file server that makes it easy for AnonCred Issuers to publish tails files and for holders to access those tails files. A tails file does not have to be published to an Indy Tails Server, they can be published anywhere as long as there exists a URL accessible to all holders to access the tails file. If holders are mobile iOS or Android apps, the URL must use SSL (e.g. must be https:) due to the restrictions in those OS's. Support for publishing tails files to an Indy Tails Server is built into Aries Cloud Agent Python.

Aries VCR Issuer Controller
This repository is a template for creating an Aries Verifiable Credential Registry (VCR) Issuer Agent. Aries VCR is the foundational technology upon which the Government of British Columbia's OrgBookBC was built. Aries VCR Issuer Controller is a starter kit for building an Aries agent that issues verifiable credentials to instances of an Aries VCR, such as OrgBookBC. This repo contains code for an issuer controller that works with Aries Cloud Agent Python (ACAPy) framework. The controller and an instance of ACA-Py can be deployed together to implement an Aries issuer agent.
aries-vcr-issuer-controller was developed as part of the Verifiable Organizations Network (VON). For more information on VON, visit https://vonx.io. Even better, join in with what we are doing and contribute to VON and the Trust over IP community.
Still not sure what this is? Please see this Getting started with VON overview, paying particular attention to the VON Issuer/Verifier Agent section. That's what this repo implements.
