Runtu is a Russian desktop Linux distribution based on Ubuntu's LTS (long-term support) releases. It features full support for Russian and a variety of extra applications, tools and media codecs. There are two separate editions that are produced with a varying degree of frequency; the "Xfce" edition tend to get more attention while the "Lite" edition, featuring the LXDE desktop, is also released and updated from time to time.

Sculpt OS is an independent open-source operating system developed by Genode. It combines Genode's microkernel architecture, capability-based security, sandboxed device drivers, and virtual machines in a novel operating system for commodity PC hardware and the PinePhone. Sculpt uses an administrative user interface called "Leitzentrale".

SDesk is an Arch-based Linux distribution which strives for an easy to use, modern approach to desktop computing. The SDesk project ships up to date software and uses GNOME running on a Wayland session for its default desktop environment. SDesk includes a number of popular open source applications, including LibreOffice and uses Calamares to install the operating system.

secureblue is an immutable, security-focused desktop and server Linux operating system based on Fedora Atomic Desktop's base images - Silverblue, Kinoite and Sway Atomic. The project's goal is to build a maximally secure Linux operating system by proactively increasing defenses against the exploitation of both known and unknown vulnerabilities, while avoiding sacrificing usability for most use cases. Some of the security hardening features include a global hardened memory allocator developed by GrapheneOS, a security-focused Chromium-based browser called Trivalent, and Linux kernel hardening via sysctl and kernel arguments.

Security Onion is a specialist, security-oriented Linux distribution based on Oracle Linux. It is a free and open platform for threat hunting, enterprise security monitoring and log management. It includes custom interfaces for alerting, dashboards, hunting, PCAP, detections and case management. It also includes other tools, such as osquery (a tool for exploring and monitoring operating system data with SQL queries), CyberChef (a web application for encryption, encoding, compression and data analysis), Elasticsearch (a data search engine), Logstash (a data collection and processing engine), Kibana (a data visualization plugin for Elasticsearch), Suricata (an intrusion detection and prevention system) and Zeek (a software network analysis framework).

Senpai Respins is a set of (principally) MX Linux respins with Cinnamon, GNOME, LXDE, LXQT, MATE and Moksha desktops and window managers, user interfaces that the upstream project does not offer. It also provides a respin of Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE) with MATE, and MX Linux with the Parrot distribution installed on top of it. The MX Linux variants offer a choice between the systemd and SysV init systems. Other than integrating a new desktop into an existing distribution, Senpai brings very few other modifications, leaving the software composition and visual appearance of the upstream project intact.

Shanios is an immutable desktop Linux distribution based on Arch Linux. It provides optimised builds of the GNOME and KDE Plasma desktop environments. Like most immutable Linux systems, Shanios features rollbacks for instant system recovery, atomic updates through a custom deployment tool called shani-deploy, and Flatpak integration. The distribution's other main features include a blue-green deployment strategy using Btrfs subvolumes, preservation of system integrity with a read-only root partition, and enhanced security through AppArmor profiles, firewalld configurations, and full-disk encryption.
